I often like how thoughtful the Guardian is in its reporting, but this one’s a mess.

It conflates an incremental improvement in display tech with some radical increase in student engagement, as though the trouble with university lectures is that the professor isn’t visible in enough detail.

The author even drops in ludicrous claims like “your physics lecture delivered by Albert Einstein”, handwaving AI to make that seem even remotely plausible.
The author is probably being fed this stuff by the company pushing the new tech, but that doesn’t excuse such an uncritical take.
