Went on a walk to look at Christmas lights with my parents and was struck by the magnitude of energy savings we've gotten by figuring out how to effectively replace incandescent and fluorescent lights with LEDs over the past decade... I feel like this has genuinely got to be one of the better technological innovations for climate since 2010? I don't think they've had induced demand for lighting in a way that would be negative either, but may be wrong on that
