This was an issue for me this morning so I'm curious how others approach this serious situation...
A poll for those who eat breakfast cereal, recognising we probably shouldn't, what do you do when you have leftovers at the end of a packet?

I think I did ok for my first attempt. Family is doing Christmas tonight with a few traditional Finnish things
My contribution

Although I only needed half the prunes and 10 mins in the oven

Just home from a couple of nights at my sister's farm, it's so lovely and quiet there
Most of the flowers were past their best but I snapped a couple. The first couple are a little bit of an optical illusion, or else dodgy camera on my phone lol
Just to confuse things more she has an actual mauve bottlebrush as well, see 3rd pic

User surveys are everywhere these days, even on regional trains
As the lady handing out the form said, she has a captive audience

I was waiting for a sunny day but not sure when that will be and with a thunderstorm forecast for later today I thought I'd better grab a pic today

I was thinking of doing a poll but it's easier just asking the question
I've heard, and used, the term "dumb tv" re being the opposite of a smart one i.e. a dumb tv isn't connected to the internet
My questions are, does that apply more broadly?
For example, now there are fridges that are connected to the internet, are they called smart fridges? And does the opposite apply? Is one that isn't a dumb fridge?
Is an internet connection essential to something being labelled "smart"? e.g. is a bed that does all sorts of fancy things a "smart bed"? and consequently, is a normal bed a dumb bed?
I should get out more lol

I was talking to my LA connection this morning and they told me their daughters call them
Mama and Mumma
I said when I read these they both sound the same. I'm curious if others are of the same opinion

Up and about early this morning as I'm meant to be heading up to the Northern Tablelands to visit my mum and spend the night at my sister's farm
Checked the trip planner app before I left home, train to meet my brother has been delayed 6 mins. All good
Get to the station and it's been cancelled. Next one isn't for almost an hour
Definitely not ideal

I don't usually post politics on this account but I thought folks here might be interested in this one
Bill Shorten is on RN Breakfast with PK talking about the new myGov ID proof of concept that starts in December
Stressing it's voluntary, the idea seems to be that you log into your myGov app, scan a QR code and it verifies who you are so you don't need to hand over ID documents. He mentioned the example of applying for a rental property
Also announced that they are taking an open source approach and will release the code for it
I've probably got some of this wrong but interested in what people think?
