Still amazed and disappointed about how bad AI performs when you ask it about seemingly simple factual knowledge like "give me a list of all actors that appeared in both Series A and Series B"

If after some questions it really starts giving useful results you need to ask again to get obviously interesting information like season and episode or role names.

Context:

Took me more time than I think would be appropriate to combine two images into one and turn it black and white. The process involved two internet searches.

I see a pattern here: everytime I use gimp, even when I succesfully finish my (rather basic) tasks, I think "One day you should learn to use it properly" - but that day has never come. Also I refrain from using it because it offers just to much features.

On the other hand, I could not yet find a simple "Paint(.net)" like tool :-/

Another nice Phishing "Attempt" by the corporate security department. They regularly send us employees nice offers via eMail to raise awareness.

Now I wonder: if i click the Link they want me to click... will Microsoft Exchange Security, that is looped into every single f-ing link i see in Outlook, protect me from the "Fraud" by the Security Department?

Apparently the link is personalized, so I do not dare to click it.

But I'd really love to see if the Microsoft Snakeoil would work.

Hab heute Mittag in #london einen Zug Richtung Norden nehmen wollen.

Vormittags gab es in einer Provinzstadt vor London einen Personenschaden.

Fazit: Das Britische Schienennetz ist ungefähr so anfällig für chaotische Störungen wie das der #deutschebahn

Allerdings bekommt man hier bereits ab 30 Minuten Verspätung 50% und ab 60 Minuten 100% Compensation.

Auch war es problemlos möglich das Ticket bei anderen Zugbetreibern zu benutzen ("Zugbindung aufgehoben")

Funny and kind of ridiculous, how #apple thinks neither Firefox or Chromium are compatible with their (in Beta) Maps service when i use them on my Linux system, but their support page claims both of these browsers would be supported when i run them on their proprietary Dekstop OS or on a Windows computer

It seems the cause of the problems and pain with my Split DNS setup is caused by Browsers starting to query the "HTTPS" record.

Unfortunately this will lead to my internal FQDN being resolved as if i was outside - which is then not working. So form home I can't reach my webserver in the next room.

So... now a cascade of upgrades needs to be done in order to make dnsmasq not forward these requests to the outside world...

@FrOSCon da ich es dieses jahr, wegen eines jährlich in Konkurrenz stehenden Termins, leider nicht geschafft habe : Gibt es eine Regel wie das Froscon Wochenende bestimmt wird? Oder ist das "Random-WE-im-August"? Dann könnte ich etwas längerfristig planen, danke! 🙂

Mein zweites Erlebnis uns das zweite mal war es unterirdisch was Benutzbarkeit angeht.
