Speaking of my meal prep extravaganza - these drawers that I have fully organized in the last week are already speeding up the process. Everything has a place everything in its place 😍

Only four more of these and the kitchen prints will be complete. That’s both the Bambu and ender going non stop for a week and a half.

The bathroom was great first step before tackling the awkward sizes in the kitchen.

I also feel like a complete dingus - I completely forgot about the instant pot. My last several batches of beans have been done on the stovetop and I forget how long beans take on a range.

As a result, I have a quart and a half of a taco soup that I've been loathe to tackle because the beans are inconsistently done which ruins the texture.

Time to ban use of the range save for the wok and shallow frying. Soups just slap harder coming from the pressure cooker.

16 bean soup is currently in the pressure cooker looks at watch I think I have just enough time to prep the veggies for the Mediterranean bowls and maybe get cracking on fresh whole grain pita before I'm going to run out of steam.

That being said I'm starting to understand just how much I've glossed over features of the slicer to prepare prints and not everything has to be done in the 3d modeling software.

This particular print is a gridfinity enhanced model for a drawer organizer, and its 3x11 - which wont fit on the plate as generated. Loaded it up in the slicer and cut to fit. 👏

I can be pretty dumb sometimes, this was way simpler than loading it up in shaper3d.

Time to wrap up some tasks in the homelab today, and my chosen soundtrack:

This is such an underrated album. DT has been making regular rotation since last year again, and I'm so happy I pulled these guys back out of the bin :flan_headphones:

Hitting up Costco after a weekend blizzard was a bold choice. Everyone and their cousins cousin was packed into that warehouse.

“Welcome to Costco. I love you.” Was ringing in my ears while I watched people wrestle for position to pick through the bulk bags of things.

I think I like the local store shopping experience more than saving money buying in bulk with the crowd.

Am I losing my capitalist consumerism habits? Probably not but I’m seriously reconsidering how I shop.

Final power hour of this day then it’s off to the gym to blast more metal and lift metal. Can’t wait tbh.

Hat:tip at the suggestion of falling in reverse @adam - I needed something fresh and 2025 new releases just weren’t doing it.

Raw bulb smell not withstanding, the final dish is pretty tasty! I don’t even taste the fennel flavor. Turmeric and cumin are doing the heavy lifting here.

7/10 would make again but with some small mods

Back at the stove and cooking fennel this time. It’s not the main star of the dish but it’s the first time I’ve ever used a fennel bulb.

🤔not being a fan of anise I’m wondering if this familiar smell is a tell of what’s to come 😬
