Beat the first round of the Pokémon League in Silver today, once again it was much easier than I expected even though my Pokémon were under the E4's levels
Most notably I completely swept through Lance, first his Gyarados with my Ampharos, then the rest of his team with my Blastoise with Ice Punch and Surf for the Charizard

that was stuck in postal limbo for a month but it finally arrived. It’s complete and cost me 25€, honestly I’m super happy.
The save file on it is a treasure too, started on 24th December of 2016, boxed full of mons, lots of hacked ones, but also legit japanese events from the time, and a few legit shinies too. Really happy with this score

You know, for all the QOL features that are missing in Silver, something I like to have to do is managing my money and budgeting what I buy. In modern games there’s always a point where I end up getting fuck you money and it’s never a concern anymore. I’m late game in Silver right now, and I’m not completely broke or whatever but I have to be careful how much stuff I buy! And to me, that’s just more gameplay

I don’t generally speak publicly about donphan.social’s suspensions, but I think in the case of threads it really doesn’t qualify as what you would call "inter-instance drama".
I’ve always refused federation with threads.net. Mark Zuckerberg’s announcements today are not surprising. I would say even, that they’re finally being honest about their goals and philosophies for their platforms, and that this is nothing new at all.
I remain strong in my conviction that corporate social media will always have profit first and foremost as a goal and that it is fundamentally incompatible with fostering a healthy online public space.
