I didn't think that the #shittycamerachallenge would inspire me so much. But I have to admit, capturing the world in just 3 megapixels and with extremely limited technology has a very special appeal for me.

He's totally right. It's not really enjoyable to make #music now.

It's not really enjoyable to watch colleagues getting all excited by some Suno generated bullshiit while not giving a fuck about my new album.

It's not really enjoyable when almost nobody notices said new album but I can be sure that it will be scraped and harvested to make money for some AI bros.

It's not really enjoyable to live in a world where music is completely devalued and desecrated by AI bros.

It's strange to go back to that old EP.

It's definitely the release that sold the least as it wasn't through the label but just self-released, with my usual inability to sell myself.

I earned 2.69€ with it in one year.

Still, I'm not sad. I don't care and I really wonder why that is.

Maybe it's because I never put any effort into the production and there are no beautiful songs on it. It's raw, experimental, it's what it is, and I had fun doing it, period.

Food for thought…

While updating to #faircamp 1.0 the other day, I suddenly realized that I had been providing the wrong audio files for “The Gottstreu E.P.” the whole time...!

The audio up until now was a preliminary version of the master. The EP went through several revisions afterwards; I have no idea how this could have happened, but here we are… 😳
