My company got licences for Github Copilot.

For a few weeks it felt neat, then it started to feel it was getting in the way and I disabled and uninstalled it as much as possible.

I'm starting to lean into thinking that the "ideal" public method is at most 3 lines:

ValidatePreconditions(...parameters);
var result = DoSomethingCore(...parameters);
return ValidatePostconditions(result);

I don't know if something like this already exists, but it would be cool if there was an #OpenSource / #CreativeCommons collaborative worldbuilding/storytelling project in style of #scpfoundation but more sci-fi instead of horror, like an open-source Star (Wars|Trek|Gate).

Got #lego #StarWars: The Skywalker saga last week for free on Epic.

Overall fun, but flying missions are almost impossible because mouse control for the ships only rarely unfreezes.

Yesterday my kid had their end-of-year Christmas school presentation, and behind each class presentation there was projected an AI-slop animation video.

I'm not completely against "AI" and think it has legitimate uses, but that was just absolutely horrible.

The kids' presentations were awesome.
