A badly timed power cut last night meant I missed the first half of the listening party for @stephan’s new album, Malers Hüs. As such I’m catching up in full now and listening from the start.
My wife has no idea of the context i.e. I just put it on and she doesn’t know what it is. Her first response was, “Oooh this is lovely. It feels like being in a bothy in the Hebrides.”

My dad wanted to get a new #Macbook as his had stopped performing well.
I wanted to convert him to #Linux but felt it might be a step too far at this stage.
Instead I got him a new battery and installed it using iFixit’s really easy to follow guide and his machine is now back to full efficiency.
In the process I swapped out most of his standard applications for #FOSS ones and he’s adapted really well. ✊

After watching a video your sister account posted yesterday I realised it’s possible to pick up where you last left off on Mastodon. Can you confirm if this is for the simple view only and not for the Advanced layout?
-I only ever use the advanced layout and I can’t find a way to pick up from where I last left off in any of my columns. I have to scroll down each column every time I come back to Mastodon if I want to pick up from where I last left it.
Any advice or confirmation appreciated.
