Kurze Frage in die Runde, da ich das noch nie gemacht habe:

Klappt das mit einem Kontoumzug (und der Mitnahme der Follower) hier auf Mastodon gut? Oder habe ich mit irgendwelchen Schwierigkeiten zu rechnen?

Die bisherigen Toots können nach wie vor nicht mitgenommen werden, oder gibt's da zwischenzeitlich irgendeinen Trick?

Habe gerade die neueste Cryptomator Version (1.14.2) installiert und bekam 'ne fette Fehlermeldung (s. Screenshot) beim Versuch einen verschlüsselten Tresor zu entsperren.

Lösung war, die neueste FUSE-T Version (1.44) zu installieren:

Apple hat diese neue Funktion bisher nicht erwähnt.

Hauptziel war sicherlich nicht nicht die Ermittler damit zu stören, sondern eher den Usern einen zusätzlichen Schutz zu geben. Insbesondere vor Pegasus oder ähnlicher Malware, die sich primär im flüchtigen Speicher einnistet und nach einem Reboot wieder verschwindet.

Bzgl. den plötzlich neustartenden iPhones und den Ermittlern, die sich darüber wunderten bzw. ärgerten:

Ab iOS 18.1 startet das iPhone automatisch neu, sobald es für eine gewisse Zeit nicht benutzt wird.

iPhones befinden sich nämlich nach einem Reboot im sogenannten BFU mode ("before first unlock"). Bedeutet für Forensiker: Das iPhone muss per Brute Force Attacke geknackt werden. Das kann die Ermittlungsarbeit massiv erschweren.

Meta beendet die direkte Peering-Beziehung mit der Deutschen Telekom aufgrund eines Gerichtsurteils und der Forderung nach inakzeptablen Gebühren.

So traurig wie es ist, muss man Meta in diesem Punkt absolut Recht geben.
