Found my first pair of Nordic waxless ski-touring skis from 1992 that I used in #Antarctica with 75mm + cable bindings and leather boots. They were eventually relegated to sea-ice use after a season of adventures - hence the rusty edges!

Apparently it’s possible to use the same Royal Mail tracking code to post multiple parcels at the Post Office.
I would have expected the tracking code to have been rejected after it had been used once! 🤯

Dependabot security updates may include compatibility scores to let you know whether updating a dependency could cause breaking changes to your project. These are calculated from CI tests in other public repositories where the same security update has been generated. An update's compatibility score is the percentage of CI runs that passed when updating between specific versions of the dependency.

Before they got taken over by GitHub, Dependabot used to provide a dashboard for each package. This dashboard displayed how many successful & failing CI builds of dependent projects using the package there had been for each version of the package.
This gave an admittedly imperfect, but nevertheless useful, indication of the quality of each package release.
Does this still exist somewhere...?

Do any Rubyists know if there's any logical reason behind releasing a new (minor) version of Ruby on Christmas day every year? Or is it just a tradition?
I always have a slight sense of dread that my holidays are going to be interrupted by a show-stopper Mocha bug...
