Ok on further research it's looking like the reverse proxy is still needed, and you need some extra stuff to make the subdomains (which aren't really) resolve. Not for today but I'll keep it in mind

Is there an easy way to do subdomains with mDNS? Like map XXX.YYY.local:80 to YYY.local:8080 without putting a whole-ass reverse proxy or fiddling with your router?

I... do not read emails that aren't hand-sent. I really try sometimes! It just never works out. Inbox zero more like inbox-almost-3000-at-this-point

My unread RSS feeds are also over 1k at the moment but anyone who is following my shares feed knows that I am making my way through it (no more November deliveries!). Not happening with anything emailed though

I would be much more likely to sign up for paid blogs/newsletters if I could be sure that they'd give me an option of a fulltext rss feed rather than emails

If your chosen newsletter software/provider has that feature, mention that when you advertise to your free readers—please and thank you. As a bonus it's much cheaper than email
