Thinking about sending onboarding emails to help people get started with @silex - user emails would be deleted afterward

There are 2 checkboxes on the login screen but these emails could be helpful whether people check them or not

Hmm, does that mean 28K people have a @silex account? 🤔 Pretty sure it does, but wow, that's a lot! Or is this a GitLab bug?

The (100% free) SaaS version currently relies on #GitLab for user storage, builds, and hosting but are exploring options more aligned with free/libre principles

We’re adding around 1,800 new users/month on gitlab currently—would codeberg.org be able to handle this volume for storage, pipelines, and hosting?
