@Lokjo - EU's online map I see some rather outdated info on your map, where do you get your info from?

I see 2 restaurants in my neighborhood that have disappeared years ago, yet another one that has been gone for only 2 months is indeed not showing.

One of my cats came home dirty, smelling of diesel...

Olive oil I don't mind, they can clean that up themselves, but diesel isn't something they should lick up.

So I had to bathe him. Knowing how #cats hate water, are quick and elastic and have sharp teeth and nails, I feared the worst...

Filled the kitchen sink with handwarm water and quite a bit of dishwashing detergent, and placed him in it.

He sure didn't like it, and tried to get out, but didn't put up a fight. Phew.

So I washed him thoroughly, and dried him with a towel after that. The rest was up to him and his brothers and sister: they all helped him get dry.

The diesel smell hasn't completely disappeared yet, though 😳

Hmm, weird.... Modern film version of Mozart's #MagicFlute on #Arte.

Arte is in #French or #German, but the original is this film seems to be in #English.

It's very uncommon in the Netherlands to dub films, but it's normal in Germany and France.

But dubbing a #music film? Sure, the Magic Flute is originally in German, but dubbing it?

And if you really have to dub it, at least use really good singers... 🙄

Still, this allows me to sing along, I know (most of) the German lyrics.

Dat het ooit zo ver zou komen, ik in een #BMW 🙄

De #C6 is uitgevallen, en de zaak wil er geen geld meer aan uitgeven, dus zat ik ineens zonder auto. Erg onhandig...

Gelukkig kan ik voorlopig deze auto van @Erik van Zijst lenen. Heel andere auto dan de #Citroën, maar beggars can't be choosers.

Het gebeurt me steeds vaker dat er in de #trein, 1e klas, geen stroom is. Ik mag een treinreis graag gebruiken om te werken, maar zonder stroom houdt het redelijk vlot op.

Stopcontacten genoeg, maar steeds vaker staat daar dus gewoon geen prik op. Ben ik de enige die dat merkt?

How to speed up a #pandemic? Well, make sure people will still come to work if they're sick, so they can contaminate each other.

I'm so glad I live in a country where I can go to the doctor if I'm sick, without having to worry about going bankrupt on medical cost. A country where I can stay home on sick leave, without having to worry about getting fired or losing days or weeks of income.

So glad #socialism isn't a dirty word here. I gladly pay my taxes to keep that system running.
