They've just announced the sequel of my favourite 4x game of all times, Endless Legend 2!!!

Hopefully they won't fuck it up like Humankind...but with Amplitude Studio gone indie again, without Sega on their necks, and joining forces with Hooded Horse my hopes are high this time.

I can confirm that even some friends in Italy who don't even care one bit for #USpol, have found that they were following Trump and Vance's accounts on FB the other day.

Today I listened to music on the go on my iPhone. And it was music streaming from my personal library of .flac files, ripped cds and albums I bought on Bandcamp.

The music is on an ssd attached to a #raspberrypi that I have at home.

Using @jellyfin as the back end and AmpFin as the front end on my phone.

Such a great feeling.

I love the idea of using the #neovim plugin mini.ai (which is not AI, but rather it adds new objects and motions to the editor, like "around" and "inside"), but I'm afraid I'll start to lose memory of which commands are native to neovim and which are from mini.ai.

I'd rather stick to the fundamentals. But mini plugins are great, I use a few of them for other things.

After over a year of using the Nord theme everywhere, I wanted to try something else.

I've always avoided Catppuccin because I found it too pastel, too desaturated and overall too violet/pinky for my taste.

Then a few months ago I gave it a try, and damn, it works great for readability but mostly I wish more color schemes / color systems were as thoroughly developed and maintained as @catppuccin

Now I was bored and I started using Tokyo Night but it's not even close.

The more I do #webdev stuff the more it feels like I'm a digital plumber, with data instead of water, figuring out all the routes and clogs to move data from A to B without issues...

My dad used to work as an actual plumber, so the prophecy is finally half-fullfilled I guess?

I finally managed to fix images' links in my personal website RSS feed, in #astro

It wasn't trivial at all! And I have to thank Billy and his post here:

Better late than never I guess. This album is so good: smooth like silk, catchy but also interesting at each new listen. Very modern for its age (1999).

Aaaargh! Images aren't showing in the RSS version of my blog posts!!

It has to do with the absolute/relative paths I use in the markdown files...(and I really need to find a solution to host media for my website).

Also at a closer inspection of the source code, Astro is not interpreting correctly my intentions with . Or rather, markdown-it is messing it up..

I need to fix it but, again, it's quite late. Why I always find this issues late at night??

My #Meta

situation until yesterday:

• Facebook, deactivated since around 2018

• Instagram, on my phone, occasionally

opening it for cats' videos and some friend's shitposting

• Whatsapp in use

My Meta situation today:

• Facebook, waiting for my data backup to be ready for download, then proceeding to nuke it

• Instagram, nuked completely

• Whatsapp, too many friends and family are using it, can't do without unfortunately.

Holy cow. With the excuse of fixing the /uses list that looked hideous I found sooo many things to fix in my website!

Now it definitely looks better.

And to the guy who criticized my very big font size on mobile two months ago:

yes, you were absolutely right. Pardon my aging eyesight!

Now the text is smaller on mobile and it's much better.
