Sony ARW RAW files have the same header as little-endian TIFF files. Who's m$@%fing bright idea was that?

(CGImageSourceCreateWithData will then choke on it. CGImageSourceCreateWithURL works fine, I'm assuming, because it then sees the file extension and figures out a UTI from that).

Lazymastodon: I've been using the new Apple Intelligence proofreading tools a bit more lately, but I wish there was a way to see a diff of what it suggests vs. what it was. Is there a tool to do this already?

One difference between this major release of Acorn, and previous versions, is that my online store is currently making 3.6x more revenue than via Apple's App Store.

I can't remember exactly what the split was in previous years, but it wasn't this big.

Kind of fun to see this milestone pass over the weekend. I should really write up a short history of Acorn at some point.

Just enabled Swift 6 for my major app and got everything working in a few minutes. I guess it pays to wait a billion years to adopt this language.

This bake was good and repeated the success from the other day. I might have the basics for doing multiple loaves in this oven down. Now I get to experiment in different ways.

Quick shout out to the Core Image and Core Graphics teams. They are pretty good at getting bugs fixed these days in a timely manner and I super appreciate that.

(One of the tricks is to write a very good bug report with a sample project that shows exactly where things are going wrong, which tends to be easy with images).

The bake for today’s bread could have been so much better, but I think my oven decided to turn off the heat instead of turning it down:

I've been making a ton of bread lately to try and figure out the best setup to bake six loaves at once in my oven. I got a really good bake today and I'm hoping I found something that works:
