I did a stress test on the tablet (running Sky COTL) and the poor thing could barely run it over 2 FPS.

Since then, I elected to use it as either a secondary monitor, a digital instrument, a virtual pet to attend to every now and then, or a drawing tablet.

I get your viewpoint, but here is why I disagree:

 If everyone is talking about the same upsetting thing, at some point, people are going to get tired of that topic. To make an analogy, one mosquito in your room would not bother you that much, but if there's a hundred of them, you're bound to be pissed off. 

 While I partially agree with the idea that people should set up their own filters should they not want to see political content,  the filters work much better when people use content warnings in conjunction with the filters. It's kind of like how if everyone uses a mask, less virus particles spread and everyone is safer.

My final point would be that realistically, it'll only take maybe three seconds to add a content warning compared to minutes or so to create a filter.

I'll respect your choice to not add political CW's, though the fediverse will be a much more positive place when you choose to do so.

Anger.

Anger is an emotion mocked by those wearing the boot. They say that anger is merely a child's tantrum to be silenced. You're losing your livelihood and they degrade you for expressing your grief.

They want you to be emotionless. They want to take away your humanity so that you can continue to be a cog in their factories. That is why they mock you.

So I present you with a choice: Will you dampen yourself for them, or will you defiantly light your match, ignite the fight inside your heart, nurture your inner inferno, and let your searing light shine, scorching the darkness that's dragging you down?

Step 2: Use the federated live timeline and scroll until I find an interesting post.

What are your thoughts on #linux, more specifically, what do you think of the current state of #atomic distros?

I think that as of right now, aside from ironing out some tweaks, I could see atomic distros being well-liked by the general population because they wouldn't have to worry about their OS as much.
