once i finish learning 6502 assembly, i'd like to fujinet. seems like a great way bridge the power gap and capabilities of an 8bit computer while keeping the 8bit feel.

this look amazing, but just made me think more about how we automate away more and more jobs. makes one wonder if we're better off now than before. definitely our all cause mortality is lower, thats good. we have better health outcomes, but are we happier? whats the inevitable logical conclusion of this path? that there are no unautomated jobs? doesn't that path sound very painful?

i really really envy those of you that can just pass out when sick, go into hibernate mode, and wake up better. i cant sleep when im not at 100% - i have to suffer ever minute of this annoying cold. this is the only time when time itself slows down. yay me. /whine

why do most video/audio platforms stop at 2x speed? (i'm looking at you peertube and youtube), but also many others. 2x is often when things get comfortable, but does something bad happen after 2x? is there some config/script magic to go faster?

also - am i alone in this? please tell me this isn't just me lol

Help me out #peertube - I can like a video when I see it on my timeline, but if I click on the video and go to the peertube instance, I can no longer click like because I have to be logged in and I don't have an account on the local peertube instance.

If all I have is the peertube video URL, how can I like it?

looks like we should expect all US health related agencies to be mouthpieces for trump, even the CDC. i wish they had more autonomy, this feels just wrong. even the CDC. it feels crazy to say it, but.. don't automatically trust communications from the NIH, CDC or anything from HHS.

so i think people who read my posts know where i stand in politics, but i rarely call out the other side. maybe im afraid that it'll hurt me later, like i wont get hired because some techbro company sees that ive been infected by the woke virus. but i mean, im f'ing trans, its not like its a big leap.

so, yes, i have opinions. fuck musk, fuck x/twitter, reading on twitter is like still watching harry potter or going around driving in a tesla car. don't do it.

get on fediverse, but if you HAVE to be on bluesky, fine, i won't hate you. you're ok. i get it, not having all the data in one place so you can see all the replies and having to click a button can be annoying, so whatever. at least you're not giving musk money.

so, i encourage people like me, who try to be "civil" and don't feel comfortable being exposed, just do it. now is the time to pick a side and make it known.

this looks really cool, scheme for webasm ! i haven’t played with it yet but ill be sure to be making some videos on this !

there’s also haskell to webasm thats built into haskell which i’d like to investigate also , but hoot is related to the spritely project, something worth looking into!

i feel the need to verify all this news that i see because it seems so hard to believe, how can someone running NASA so openly push the trump agenda to every personnel and attempt to turn people against their coworkers? yes she was nominated by trump but , really? and yes it seems legit, this is really happening
