Quick question for #OrgMode users from someone considering switching to it. Can it generate graphs from data in properties from different (but structured) notes?
Ideally I'd like to be able to log things like mood, energy, habits, nutrition, expenses, etc. inline in my daily notes and have that data quantified into tracking dashboards.

Quick update to my politics and content warning policy that I'm pinning to my profile.
What's happening in the US right now is not only wrong and reprehensible, but also directly affects me as a trans person, the people who I love and other members of marginalized communities. For as long as it is safe to do so, I will, unequivocally, not be silent.
As such, many of my posts will be political in nature. I sincerely wish this was not necessary, but I didn't get to pick this timeline.
Other content about tech, development, PKMs, neurodiversity, hiking, nerd culture and other interests is still important to me, but may be crowded out by posts that are about US and global politics.
Because accessibility is important to me I will be continuing to use content warnings for all the political content wherever possible. I am imperfect however, and have ADHD, so mistakes will almost certainly slip through. Feel free to let me know if I miss one.
With that said, there is no way to add content warnings to boosted content without changing the nature of boosting (in other words, embedding links in a post’s content). I am not going to avoid boosting things that I believe are important simply because the author of the post did not, for whatever reason, add content warnings. If I do not feel additional commentary is valuable, I am uncomfortable with quoting exclusively to add a warning. I do not care to police other people’s content.
If that is a concern, I highly recommend utilizing Mastodon's great filtering features, which will help you avoid posts you don't want to see by me and others.
It's also a great way to push pause when you're overwhelmed and need to get in a different mind space. Self-care is critical right now and the next few years are going to be a marathon.

I do so enjoy getting a denial to pay for service letter from my health insurance for an office visit I did not have with a doctor I've never even heard of that my PCP might have consulted with. Looking at a photo and going, hey, I think that’s raynaud's syndrome is not, in fact, an office visit and the fact that it was coded as such is just another example of how opaque, complex and non-consensual the US' bullshit healthcare system is.
I sure as hell would deny a claim from a doctor doing the equivalent of commenting on an Instagram and claiming it's an office visit too.

My partner is disabled, her disability application is in processing, much of my time every day goes to taking care of her and I can't leave her unattended for long so I had to stop doing gig work. We're depending on medicaid and EBT to keep us afloat until we can get her condition in a better place or I can get a decent remote tech job. We're in a good blue state but Oregon was already facing massive economic challenges.
Feeling extremely stressed and overwhelmed right now. Things were very different when I was just responsible for myself, I can survive a lot but her life is already extremely difficult.
I really hope democrats find some fucking backbone and actually fight back here.
