50.000 were expected, the estimate got corrected to 65.000 during the event and went even beyond that.

Let me tell you about my #ttrpg plot for the coming Sunday, because I am a bit proud of it:
It's set in my cyberpunk setting and the party starts in a hotel room, after an intense night of partying, head aching and the beat of the night still pounding in their heads. While they regain their senses, they realize a) there is a securily locked suitcase tied to the wrist of one of them, b) one has a number tattooed on their arm (weird!), b) another has a gun in their hand and there is a very dead guy in a suit next to them and c) the pounding isn't the memory of last night's partying but the police in full riot gear who would really like to come in now. And ofc they can't remember shit. ^^

I wouldn’t fault anyone who truly isn’t able to afford a work of art for getting it off the record. In this case, yes, sharing art is preferrable to not sharing. But puffing out your chest and being proud of thinking of artist compensation as optional, openly encouraging it, is infuriating to me.
You don’t deserve art if you don’t appreciate the person who made it.
You know who else thinks like this about artists? Corporations.
