I was invited by a friend at Aph to apply for oneof the Monarchunits that are going to be available to professionals who are not working in the blindness field. He said I should just talk to them about how uncomfortable the membrane is. Otherwise, I'd love to use a Monarch. It would certainly help my hands not scrolling smuch to do proofing. It would also help just in reading Br lmusic too. Maybe I'll have a chance at it since there aren't a ton of blind professionals working in non blindness fields. I'm trying to convince my husband a cat is a better idea. We can now afford cat deposits. His concerns, how do we keep it from counter, piano, and harp? my questions, I have all kind of electronics around me. How do I keep the cat from pawing the cords or braille displays. Okay. So I tried to make something with Suno but the audio quality was gross. The song was not horribleeab I would really like to say you know have a voice of a singer i like. Or myself for that matter but with pitch correction. I have also read something about somewhing cabbled Revocalizer that looks interesting. Problem is I think both of these sites are horrid with a screenreader.

There are days when I hurt tremendously and can onl`as sit on mz couch. What instrument beside guitar with four octaves, if any exists, can I just put on my lap and play? So are any of the screenreaders doing any beta that anyone's been able to actually test where multi-line displays are connecting with screenreaders and showing the full line. I'm to the point where I'm about to pull the trigger on one of them. I am suspicious I will like Monarch more, but Slate is a lot cheaper. Canute not really an option, as it only works by itself. That's fine for most of what I want, but I'd like one that will grow and work with my computer and phone when it can. I heard multi-line options were in ios 18 but I don't see that anywhere.

I'm determined to get a functioning multi-line Braille display. I've asked but can find nada info on the Slate actually working. The Monarch sounds fantastic, but I need to even consider dropping 17 grand. Still looking for help in Vancouver, Washington area to see one. It's a truckload of money, but I don't do vacations. I have no kids. I don't do fashion. I just love Braille, tech, and spoiling my rabbit. So yes, I'm considering these. So besides telling me it's expensive, please anyone who has had more than 30 steconds with these things give me some pointers.

So far looking good. Very hopeful we will not have Kamala in office. Too much tolerance of criminal activity, taking care of more people than we can, and just burning our economy to the ground. So ready for a change. The world did not fall apart first time he was President. It won't now. I know it's not over yet but can't wait till it is. I chose freedom. I chose someone who won't take away my rights little by little, who won't just allow criminals to get out early, who will only let people come here legally. I have many friends who have come here but all of them took the road to come here legally or were brought here when they were very young. i will be so relieved when tomorrow is over, although sadly these past few years have seen politics constantly being bandied about in America. I'm tired of the vitreol from dems, one of which I used to be until it became to me so radical. While as a woman i am disturbed by the abortion bans, in every other way I'm very much more in the other camp. Now I'd prefer somewhere in the middle but since I will do anything nffh Kamala in office, Iw vote for Trump. Quite honestly, even though I don't agre with him on everything, on many things, like our borders, our first and second amendment rights, our right not to have schools raise our kids in wayswe don't believe in, our weapons rights, I will be voting for Trump. I know a lot of people are nervous to say how they feel because I've been messaged by them to thank me for saying things they didn't feel comfortable saying. I have a question for my musician friends. I got really frustrated with trying ! make music using my computer. I have a pickup on my harp but want to use effects and loops. I'm wondering if any Ios app or even something like the Ableton Move could be used for this. It's an acoustic harp with pickups. I want to do looping and effects without worrying about my software being stupid or some update ruining everything. It's why I got fed up with Komplete because something was always screwy with Reaper or wouldn't start it, have weird pops even with good memory. So now I'm down to wanting to sample and using my acoustic instruments.

I feel so rung out. 260 pages of boring construction testimony. Only made me 600. Could have been 4 grand if they had all ordered the transcript. I never thought I would 600 dollars is an okay day. When did that happen? I mean, at one point $500 a week would have been amazing! Now I couldn't even survive on that. It's so nice not to worry all the time. I never thought all debt would be paid off. I never thought my credit would be in the excellent range. I never dreamed I'd be married to the most amzing man. So, many of my court reporting friends rag me because I work for bigger agencies. Supposedly they don't pay as good of rates. Guess what? At least they paid me. this jerk from a small agency has first lied several times about when he sent checks. This time he sent one that I put through the app which I've done with other checks. this came back nsf, which I do believe means nonsufficient funds. He starts telling me about how he's sure he has 10 grand inthe bank and how this has never happened except once when the Irs actually took out twice. In other words, this guy is full of horse manure.
