I was looking at my bike computer earlier, and it seems I've done a but under 4500km since getting the bike about 2.5 years ago.

Then I got curious about that distance.

Turns out it's the equivalent of riding from Brisbane to Adelaide, and back again.

So, this guy decided to do a "I used 1950s tech for a week" video/vlog. But went all-out and filmed it entirely on a 1950s clockwork film camera, which didn't record sound, so he recorded that separately, and even added in foley effects.

And it is actually quite something.

The trip home: catch train to Bowen Hills, there’s a bus waiting there but I can’t take my bike on it, that’s fine I already knew that. See the woman who was sitting a few rows down from me get on the bus as I prepare to ride the gap.

Some time later: arrive at Northgate station, step off bike and catch my breath… a few minutes later a bus arrives, I watch as the same woman steps off the bus and double-takes at seeing me.

Me: grins widely. I beat the bus.

Just a thought I had the other day that has me curious. For those who follow a particular religion, does yours include the concept of "worship"? Either as "mass worship" (going to church etc), or as individual "acts of worship", or other?

For instance, followers of some religions may worship their deity/deities, while others may honour or respect them in other ways that aren't considered worship (even though outsiders may call it worship, it isn't considered that by participants).

Also here's an insulated wagon specifically for carrying cheese. Just cheese. You're not allowed to put anything else in it, I guess. Or maybe someone just looked at the class AB insulated wagon and wanted an excuse to have a class ABC; C for cheese!
