i'm trying to add #tracing (like the crate called tracing) to my current #rust project. i'm using tracing-forest to get nested output for my spans, and i want to get that into all my 200+ tests, but i don't want to add a new line to every test. a single global initializer before all tests run would be great, or else a per-test initializer would be fine. i've found some partial solutions, but nothing that lets me use tracing-forest in a layer. any ideas what I could do?

anyone ever think about how sometimes you break into kernel debugger to examine something and then just leave it that way for days cause you forgot about it? and then you hit 'g' and just expect it to pick itself up and keep going like it didn't just lose four days' worth of time? like it's nothing?? or is that just me?

Today I am testing some old, largely deprecated multiplayer features on xbox. We have test tools for them, but not a lot of documentation anymore. I finally found some instructions on a wiki... Written by me... 11 years ago, when it was first being developed. Thanks, past me
