hi @simonbs - not sure if this is a bug you know about yet or not, but if I want to close Festivitas so it's gone from the dock, it stops the lights. This broke in some update (not the most recent one though) since I used to be able to use it fine without it being in the dock.

has anyone got an extensions (similar to Sky Follower Bridge) to find #Threads account you follow which have federated their accounts? It could scroll through the list, let you sign in with Mastodon and auto follow them? I’d find it useful, thanks!

imo if #threads want to still partake in the #fediverse, they’re going to need to allow 3rd party clients. I know they won’t since it’ll stop them from tracking, showing ads, and serving the for you algo, but I’m just reading more and more about Surf, OpenVibe, and all of these apps which need it..

these microblogging apps are very good for realtime access of information. rarely will you be shown a post older than 2 days - unless you go searching or use a custom feed. imagine a youtube like this, where everything's recent. there'd be less stuff from larger creators, but imagine 👀
