Es kommen (für mich) einfach keine guten Filme mehr im #kino. Alles nur noch dieser pseudo-Blockbuster Mist. Color graded bis zum gehtnichtmehr und auf effekthaschende Trailer zugeschnitten. Handlung? Kaum vorhanden. Gute Charaktere bzw. eine Charakterentwicklung? Nicht mehr wahrnehmbar. Alles und jeder möchte ein #franchise sein. Und gleichzeitig floppen diese Filme en masse an den Kinokassen, können digital kaum aufholen im Vertrieb. Umdenken? Fehlanzeige. Weiter so ...

What still really pisses me off is that there is but ONE browser allowed to have plugins, extensions and that is #safari
I want my #firefox browser with extensions working as it does on #android devices, dammit!
But maybe I should look out for a not-too-bad #android tablet just for this use. Or maybe a #linux tablet?
Funny note: I managed to get Safari on my #iPhone with #youtube ad-free. But the same app isn't working on my #iPad. What a bummer & it's strange, too ...

Ich kann #werbung nicht ausstehen und ich akzeptiere sie in meinem Leben auch nicht mehr. Zumal die Werbeblöcke heute so unverschämt lang sind, dass der Mediengenuss völlig zerstört ist.
In seligen TV-Zeiten gab es auch Werbeblöcke. Aber die waren im Vergleich zu heute kurz und weniger penetrant.
Also wandert demnächst mein #apple #macmini an den Fernseher als Medienmaschine. Dank #mozilla #firefox mit #ublockorigin Werbeblocker.

Auf #bluesky schreiben mir Leute diverse "Gründe", warum sie NICHT im #fediverse und auf #mastodon unterwegs sind oder sein wollen.
Der allgemeine Tenor: zu kompliziert.
Aber eigentlich müsste es heißen: "Ich bin ein alter, weißer Mann, der in keiner Weise in der Lage ist, sich mit technischen Dingen auch nur im geringsten Maße auseinander zu setzen und fragen Sie mich bloß nicht, wie ich das mit meinem Fahrzeug oder meinem Beruf auf die Reihe bekomme."

Halo and the Microsoft Flight Simulator are reportedly coming to PlayStation5 and Nintendo Switch (2?).
So MS is killing their exclusive content for Xbox completely being timed exclusively at best.
Indiana Jones will come to PS5 this spring, too. More titles are coming.
Sony will continue to bring PS5 games to the PC (not Geforce Now, sadly!) so #Nintento remains as exclusive gaming platform for their own franchises.

When you don't like ADS #google Youtube forces you to subscribe to YT Premium which offers you little more than just YT without ads but it costs 13 Euros/month.
I do not accept that!
On my #macos desktop, I am using Firefox with the Ublock-Origin extension for ad-free YT.
On #ios, I switched back to Safari with Adblock Pro for 9,99 €/year.
And it works! On my #iPhone & # iPad, too.

Mel Gibson will direct Lethal Weapon 5, which will probably be the last in a series of very good action-buddy movies.
I recently watched parts 1-4 again and I must admit that this movie series is good to great. Every sequel adds up to the legacy. There is no bad movie within this series. Not one.
So, I am really looking forward to seeing the old boys do it once more and getting a proper sendoff ...
