No backdoor is safe! Even the state-mandated ones (specially those).
A good argument against chat control and all the technocrates wishing to weaken encryption and privacy rights with backdoors.

I recommend you use the new Signal feature Call Link feature for all your video calls with maximum 50 people, instead of Zoom or Team calls. If you don't want to install or pay for a BBB, or if Jitsi Meet isn't an option, Signal can be an alternative

It was a real pleasure to participate in the 20th episode of LoFi.So podcast hosted by Yonz. In very good company with Brooklyn Zelenka who presented her work on Beehive, and Yonz/Yonatan presenting his work on Vella.AI.
The full video and my slides are available here:

I think it is a good introduction to NextGraph features and to the Semantic Web key concepts, and how we add E2EE, CRDT, local-first into the mix.

NextGraph is an ecosystem that offers as primary feature: create documents that can be edited concurrently and shared among groups of users. The documents are rich-text documents, or plaintext, or structured data (JSON/RDF) that can be linked between each other thanks to the Semantic Web technology. They can then be queries with the SPARQL language, signed, and organized into containers and sites (called stores).

NextGraph brings about the convergence of P2P, E2EE and Semantic Web technologies into a new decentralised cloud system, based on CRDTs.
We aim at providing an open source ecosystem for software developers wishing to create decentralised apps with the following features: live collaboration, peer to peer communication, offline-first, local-first, portable and interoperable data, total ownership of data and software, security and privacy.

I signed an open letter to the @EUCommission @DigitalEU requesting continued funding of open source software R&D via the @EC_NGI program.
Free and open source software development is not free. Supporting it is vital to the EU economy, our digital sovereignty and innovation competitiveness.
@nlnet and @NGIZero funded the development of many social web apps years before they were needed and likely many underlying software you depend on every day.
