A friend of mine is a #Barclays customer, but luckily largely unaffected by their massive tech fail.

One thing they WERE appalled about was the fact the Barclays bird site advice was to “go to Trussell Trust or Citizens Advice”.

That’s basically a) contact a food bank if you can’t buy food with money you have but they won’t permit you access to &…

b) Get legal & benefits advice from a voluntary sector org because a leading big 4 bank is abnegating its core responsibilities to customers. 😡

A late night thought for #EhlersDanlos zebras 🦓:

Used to get #MCAS reactions a lot with certain foods and drinks (inflammatory response) which made me feel lousy and warm or even overheated all year round.

So I cut them all out. But one unexpected reaction of cutting the offending items is I now feel cold most of the time.🥶😂

Really enjoying this - “The name of this band is R.E.M. - a biography” by Peter Ames Carlin.

As an old diehard fan club member from the days when you signed up via snail mail & got rare goodies back in the post, this is packed with joyfully deep trivia.

Such as “Lester Bangs birthday party jelly bean boom!” (Lyric from “It’s the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine)”) turning out to be recalling details of a memorable trip to NYC! 😄😎

1 - ALL the staff at a leading opticians were outstandingly kind without any prompt when I had my eye test yesterday. Wore a mask & used my stick; not used to having such VIP treatment! 👓

2 - Invited to tea & fizz for two at neighbour’s house with nice chat (so helped her with new laptop). 🫖

3 - Took two bags of “hard-to-let-go” stuff to the chazza. Getting easier to do! 🛍️
