Status of #FamichikiSauna - Roof is missing 😅

So this weekend another round of fixing the roof and afterwards building up the benches etc. is planned. As always, if anyone is interested you are welcome, food and a warm bed will be provided. And if everything works out, then Sunday there will be the first round of Sauna!

Doctor says she might not make it. She is hypothermic and if it is because she was outside and weak then she might just get warm and happy again, but if she is hypothermic because she is septic she will simply not make it.

Let's see how she is getting through the night :/

Guys, wish me luck. New cat doesn't eat, so I decided to go today to the vet already. This will be... interesting. My absolutely limited Japanese in the Inaka veterinarian practice 😭

That is the cat. Smelly and unhappy. Just eat, buddy and then you can go your way again soon. If you get healthy again... I really do not want any cats 😬

Went for a run and found a tiny black cat that looks as if she is about to die. Just picked her up 😓

Let's see how she is after some food and cleaning. She smells like she has a bad Pseudomonas infection.

MIL came for a visit to talk about "something important".

Turns out she wants to adopt an 11 year old dog from a shelter. She misses her dogs who passed away about 6 years ago, two border collies. She is 70 now and does not think she can cope with high energy dogs (good choice), but a rescue might work out.

So she came to ask if we would be the godparents to the dog in case she is having health issues 😅

Very sweet, looking forward to meeting the new family member soon 😄

Okay, let me explain. This is Mama. 2 years ago she had three kittens in our garage. That is why she will be forever Mama. She seems to be a British shorthair(mix?) and is very shy. She doesn't like humans. She likes food.

I think she is a reasonable cat. She visits between three times per Day and once in 3 days, she is independent. She doesn't meow, she sits in front of the door and stares at you I till she gets (more) food.

People ask me about the names of the cats around, the ones I have feelings for have names. There are those:

• Mama

• Shippo

• STK

• Asshole

Perfectly fine names to distinguish.

Our neighbours also have Akie & Chisato, brother and sister who they accidentally adopted.

I finally managed to hang some things we got while traveling. The top one is from Nikko, the Ship blueprint from one we worked on together 2021 and in the lower right corner are the Ochokos from Komatsu

I like how it turned out.

On the way back from the short trip to Nikko we anyways had to go through Tokyo and since the credit card company gave us a voucher for a hotel we used that one. Now we are in a weird hotel, but the view is nice.

Since @Chanclatrix had a Book suggested that seemed a bit weird I had to think of a fun one I came across a few years ago. May I present: The Penis Theater! The only book that a non penis haver cannot properly enjoy alone 😁

I am preparing a questionnaire for my Bachelor Thesis and oh my, I thought the specific area was well researched. Turns out the specific topic I want to look at isn't researched at all, just adjacent topics. This makes all of my plans so.much more complicated. My friend asked after an explanation of my topic if I am sure that I chose a good topic and how long I plan to go on studying 😵
