KPSS protest today, by LWS and WRN members, including some of the Teignbridge campaigners!
Today we are using the Trump EO as a talking point with the public, on a KPSS-inspired prison protest at a women's prison.
The EO includes getting troons out of women's prisons over there. Plus, importantly, also changing the official language, so that US government agencies don't perpetuate the illusion that men can "become" women.
Here, we still have the GRA. HM prisons HAVE done a "work around", after pressure from the Terf Island branch of KPSS, by keeping Troon males in a special wing at HMP Downview.
This was their way of acknowledging that the 1823 Gaols Act has never been repealed.
(There was a report last year that it only houses 5).
BUT THEY ARE STILL IN THE FEMALE PRISON ESTATE!
We still have to work to REPEAL THE LEGAL FICTION of the GRA, and put the Troon prisoners (in their own wing if necessary) in the male estate.
We hope to talk to local residents, visitors to the prison, and hand leaflets to prison staff.
This protest is a tribute to the great work done by Dr Kate Coleman. KPSS continues its work in America. It will take time to make sure the Democrat States follow the Executive Order.

Kara Dansky with her free (gee thanks, Kara) preliminary analysis of the EO.
She starts off by pointing out that some States have their own local pro-trans laws, policies, programmes etc in place, which this EO can't address.
But the EO also targets entities like schools which are federally funded.
So (Correct me if I'm wrong, Americans), taxes are collected centrally, not by the States, and State administrators (aka civil servants) are only paid VIA the State, from government funding, aka taxation. So campaigners can surely argue that local civil servants, like Teachers, ARE in actual fact, government funded.
Plus, the MEANS of implementing local programmes and policies (schools, hospitals, libraries, prisons, sports facilities, women's shelters etc) will probably have some % of federal funding anyway.
So as far as I can see, the EO might very well nuke any pro-trans State's efforts to carry on with their local brainwashing.
