I don't know who wants to hear this.

I installed #Linux #Mint on my Windows machine yesterday.

It was one of the most painful things I have ever endured using a PC ever.

For about 2 hours, I could neither boot my computer in Linux or Windows.

I cannot overestimate how naive some people are who write "just install Linux" and think everything will be fine.

Now I've spent ~60 minutes trying to connect a network drive. It's so so so painful.

Thinking of buying a Mac Mini.

@pluralistic Sadly just unfollowed. I think you confuse a microblogging service with a website (which you already have).

Curious whether this works for you. I’m not prepared to have single people fill my timeline in this manner and delegate work to me. But that’s just me, and sadly, there’s that unfollow button.

(Haven’t yet seen a single other person doing this)

I see the enshitification of the tech world has finally reached Grammarly.

I knew it was only a question of time before even the most basic features became "premium", but right now, it's just underlining random stuff and not saying why.

Why would I upgrade unless I knew what it was offering me?

Right now it's underlining every word that contains an apostrophe. No idea why.
