It worked! This even-odd number of teeth seemed to be the reason of the chain being “in between sizes”. It's not usually an issue, but I'd rather not adjust the fender which gives the wheel little room to play.

I'm glad I didn't have to go with a half-link or a chain tensioner.

Left the 23 in the back for the steepest hills 📈

about to throw away a mostly working electric kettle because 1 tiny spring contact is failing, and I'm out of ideas of how to fix it without breaking the kettle even more 😞
