That sounds unreal. The rarest achievement is bit of fake, it count's the number of players of the normal Super Mario Bros. game, but only very few even start the rom for the Speedrun subset.

Hopefully those multi subset system they are working on will arrive this year.

Would be great if you could just get all the achievements for all subsets.

To me it's not about trying those hard stuff, it's just for stats, did I accidently get some ultra rare stuff? That would be great to see.

I have a very weird memory bug in python or QT6. I add a few thousand rows to a QTableWidget. That works just fine, but if I first move the window, and then add the rows it takes a long time and memory usage goes over 40gb.

And it triggers only on the Mac I'm developing on. Other Mac with the same OS version, same python version has no problem.

On the dev Mac I tried different python3 version, created a new venv, but nothing helps.

tracemalloc doesn't seem to see the huge memory usage.

Any ideas on how to find the cause of this? I'm out of ideas.

Also what did I actually do in Spire? Was the goal only to find that one diary at the end? No, I could have just gone back the way I came and use the linking book to go back to Tomahna, but I had to use one of the "explosives" to use the elevator which just brings me to the starting point.

Maybe I missed something story-wise? But so far that makes no sense to me.

Because of the Riven remake I was thinking about the Myst series again, and the urge to play Myst IV and finally beat it grew in me, so I'm playing that currently.

I always loved the Myst series and played each entry from the first one up to IV, when it was new.

But I never finished IV even though I really like the atmosphere and everything and tried it multiple times.

Well, now I'm playing again, I finished the first age (Spire), and I'm wondering about the story.

Basically they want to check if Sirrus and Achenar show remorse. At the start of the game I thought they had no contact with them, but it seems they are visiting regulary, even Yeesha is visting them without her parents.

Feels a bit weird, and that's already ignoring the fact that Sirrus was imprisoned for many years in a very hostile environment. Everyone would become more "evil" in that situation.

The artstyle of the first Clock Tower game is so beautiful. The pixel animations are really great. I just love how the skirt of the main character looks when she walks or runs. The world needs more games with high quality pixelart like this.

And just now I finished #HeXen! It's really much better than it's reputation.

It's hard. So save often!

At a few points you might want to check a Walkthrough as it's basically impossible to know what that switch just did and it can actually do stuff in another sub-level of the current hub. And most of the levels are quite large.

I'm playing #HeXen currently. It's quite good actually. I really like the setting and graphical design.

The puzzles can get annoying as you rarely know what a particular switch does, so you have to search a very large area for something that changed.

And the fights can get annoying as there are very many enemies.

But overall it's fun. I'm the second to last hub level now.

I might actually be able to finish this game. :D

Just finished playing #Sigil. The #Doom Episode 5 by John Romero.

That was a lot of fun. It has some really crazy levels. E5M7 must have taken ages to design.

Now I am seriously thinking about buying the Fan Box and T-Shirt because they just look so cool. Also would like to see the making of video. But should I?

Seit ich vor etwa einem Monat eine Domain und Maildomain eingerichtet habe, habe ich ständig in der shell "You have new mail." Meldungen. Aber ich sehe nirgends Mails. Aber alle Testmails die ich mir geschickt habe sehe ich.

Gibts noch irgendwo was verstecktes was ich übersehe, oder warum bekomme ich die Meldungen?
