With Google apparently finalizing their attempts to murder adblocking by banning the extensions on Chrome, they're back on their shit trying to block youtube access for Firefox+uBlock users, too.
Luckily, this workaround I found did the job for me:
Go into Filter Lists-->uBlock filters-->uncheck the "ublock filters - quickfixes" box and then reload the page.
This fixed it for me in Firefox.
