I fell in the rabbit hole called quilting. Been watching numerous vids, both instructional longer ones and shorter inspirational ones.
I gotten me some various rules to cut out pieces and a ruler that looked fun that I really didn't know much about how to use, the pineapple quilt trim tool. There's also a larger version apparently.
Don't think I'll do an actual quilt, but possibly use a block or two for a bag or something other small.

I have been going back at attempting the Tunisian ten stitch blanket with mitered corners.
After looking at a few tutorials that differ ever so slightly I think I have come up with an approach that works for me.
The sample in green on image number two seem like a winner to me.
The others are at various degrees wonky, mostly due to doing a U-turn on itself at the first couple corners.
The winning approach combines a couple tutorials with my own experiments.

If you have heard of, and are on, https://loops.video you can find Anna's Crafts there too.
Loops is in its infancy still but it will become a federated alternative to the likes of TikTok for sharing short videos, sharing loops.
My username there is annascrafts: @annascrafts@loops.video (link may not currently work properly from the rest of the fediverse since federation is not at this time fully implemented)
