A visitor came by while I was practicing Tai Chi this morning. It was in a fairly public place so there were lots of other people passing by. Who oohed and aahed at the Great Blue Heron. And rushed towards it to take pictures. The heron smartly moved away from the rapidly moving ground apes. And came to stand close by the slow stepping creature. It was a nice form.

Talking to the farmers I know who will most likely vote R suggests they'd be in a world of hurt if they couldn't hire undocumented workers. (Yes, of course, they should pay decent wages & hire documented people, but c'mon this is 'murican agriculture.) Dumb fucks: not just dumb, also cruel.

OK hive mind, what are the most impactful places I can donate money for this fall's elections? I'm looking for statewide & congressional races where my money will make a difference. No Amy McGrath / Sara Gideon style money sinks. No grifter Resist holes. I'll consider PACs but only if they have an actual record and spend their money on actual efforts not just consulting and overhead. Tester? State parties? Gallego? Who else?
