Just found you can use #Tailscale with #KDEConnect in case you are in a secured network that blocks device discovery.

Just add the Tailscale IP manually in KDE Connect.

It would be really cool if we get to the point of building an image from our custom Containerfile locally and then boot from that image as the host OS or as a VM.

So #bootc will allow us to boot from any container that ships with kernel+systemd, extending the #FedoraAtomic #CoreOS approach to other distros (Ubuntu, Debian, Arch etc), am I right?

This attitude is detrimental and discourages contributors. Will Fedora/GNOME/Red Hat/whatever ever deal with these specific group of people? Over the years they are always the same people that act like this.

If you don't want to do anything, at least admit the problem because I'm tired of being treated like I'm hallucinating.

In my opinion #GNOME became too big and got too much support from #RedHat, to the point of being arrogant and deciding to abuse #Freedesktop spec like other implementations didn't exist at all.

Major distros, including #Fedora, should in my opinion move to #KDE as default DE since its the most complete Freedesktop implementation and leave GNOME as a flavour people intentionally opt-in.

This would help bringing GNOME down to earth.

@jorge this is what people mean when they ask "why are GNOME maintainers like that?"

Generally they are/were Red Hat employees, they behaved like this for more than 10 years, and they are still doing it today.

What if Red Hat products suddenly break OCI spec while still adversise themselves as compliant and conseguently breaking the rest of OCI ecosystem?

Example 2: containers and #Flatpak solve the dependency hell but if abused they could dissolve the advantages given by Linux distributions' packages, that should instead be used as much as possible to assemble container images and Flatpak runtimes.

I think I have discovered a new #LogicalFallacy: when you argue in favor of an additional degree of freedom and someone is against it because it could be abused or it could support .

Example 1: #ModernMonetaryTheory explains that all the money needed for full employment, free healthcare, free education etc. can be created out of nowhere (just like all the money) but someone instists with the hyperinflation trope.
