Do I have this wrong? TikTok's userbase is global, with less than 20% in the USA, so they will be just fine if the app is banned here.

I fail to see why TikTok should care (OK, 20% will sting, but it's not fatal). In particular I fail to see why they would sell off 50% of an asset just to keep less than 20% of the userbase.

Shot myself in the foot again. Didn't get the Moderna job because I was upfront about not having a lot of hands-on flow cytometry experience. Should've lied my arse off, I could've learned what I needed before they figured out what happened. Oh well, don't have to move to Boston so there's that.
