The difference in which I can function in an office without stimulants vs. at home with stimulants is light and day. Being in a proper, dedicated environment for work makes me so much more productive and focused than trying to force myself through it with medication

Our office building's security system finally got replaced over the weekend because the outside unit stopped functioning at the start of the year. Used to be this super old looking thing that you had to swipe a magnetic card through, but it's NFC now! I'll miss being able to look at the panel and seeing if our level is unlocked before getting in & trying the button in the elevator though...

So many more posts on my Mastodon feed than on Bluesky; good for reading/catching up/getting distracted at work. I mainly still check Bluesky by default because I rely on the Discover feed for infinite dopamine, but it's still just nowhere near as good as Twitter's "For You" (it doesn't show me what I want to see, and I don't know how to tell it what I like)

Took some Ritalin to try and get some work done this evening but my brain refuses to start up because I’ve already been overworking myself as it is, so now there’s Ritalin in my system while I have essentially nothing to do and it feels like I’m literally being tortured
