Looking at updating my CV, and it seems that pretty much all templates you can find are squarely based on the US Resume standard and not the European CV 🙄. I had been wondering why so many I've received recently for my current company looked more like Resumes.

What do German companies want CV or Resume, from what I understand there is a difference, with CV being more than just about profession, or am I wrong?

We are on the way to Fulda by train, which is normally fine, but I slept poorly last night and pretty much all sounds disturb me, and I lost my noise cancelling headphones.

Going to do my best today, since the trip is for my mother-in-law and she's the sweetest little old lady.

Found a picture online of the Sycamore at Hadrian's Wall, and so I would try to paint it. Trees are hard 😊.

I seriously hate working with the Oracle Database. It provides shit errors like, "Missing right parenthesis" when the error was in fact that it wants to know the default before you tell it the column is nullable or not. It certainly doesn't like to be told that the column is not null and then what it should put into the column when the value isn't passed. 🙄

[#]Jira has given me another reason to hate it. On top of being absolutely slow as molasses and the constant breaking of my filters, on February 1st they will get rid of a tool that I actually found useful. Well not get rid of it but move it behind a paywall. Absolutely pissed as this was the tool I used to ensure my time entries in JIRA also matched those from our actual timesheet software.

So I just played the demo of Tiny Glade and I'm hooked. Even my wife (not a gamer) thinks it's pretty cute. She likes petting the sheep. So I'm looking forward to it coming out on Monday 😀

Hallo Leute,

Kennt jemand ob die WISO Steuer Software kann unter Linux laufen?

Bis jetzt habe ich immer unter Windows 10, aber die Richtung Microsoft jetzt geht wird ich in der Zukunft auf Linux. Die meisten von Software ich benötige kann unter Linux laufen ohne Probleme, das WISO bin ich nicht sicher.
