My bad! Obviously it's not a photo from parliament, but rather police blockade in front of the building. This one is from the inside.

@ryanleesipes I'd like to share some feedback from a "normal user" outside of usual nerd circle that most actively engages with devs (me included).
The aforementioned user wasn't happy, he didn't find UI nearly as intuitive as original Windows Mail app (now replaced by Outlook), they also complained on the speed of search. They also liked Spark, but decided to go with #Thunderbird after all due to performance issues with the former.

And today in the #news…
[#]Israel attacks #UN #peacekeeping forces, including their HQ, injuring two soldiers.
UN investigation confirms Israel is responsible for #war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Meanwhile #Ukraine and #SouthKorea reveal troops from #NorthKorea troop are fighting in Ukraine on the side of #Russia.
Could we just have the third world war already? All this waiting is making me anxious.

I've been using #Linux for 4,5 years privately and over 6 professionally. My first task on the internship is to ssh into supercomputer and run a Python script. Easy.
…except that I don't know how to create or edit text files without graphical app like gedit or kwrite. Please help.
(Also I screwed up ssh the first three times cause I forgot to replace username@example.com with my username.)

The LEGO giveaway is over and winners received their keys. Here are some interesting statistics:
57% of people asked for Hobbit. 31% declared they want only one of the games, out of which 56% wanted Ninjago.
Only one person claimed they know Fediverse, with most popular being Wikipedia, Humble Bundle, Linux and OSM. It seems around 30% just pressed random buttons.
35% (18) people claimed they reposted the giveaway, but only one person actually did it. Special thanks to @seyon for help with…

@organicmaps It seems like a navigation bug and I know I will forget it by tomorrow: simple route from A to B, few meters for cars and by foot, kilometers by bike.

Wrote a quick guide on my new favourite method of running #Ubisoft Connect #games on #Linux and #SteamDeck in #Heroic. While this method doesn't allow you to see entire Ubisoft library inside Heroic and requires per-game setup, the entire process is very quick and easy. The idea is to have all your installed Ubi games inside Heroic, while using a single prefix and Ubisoft installation to run them, thus saving space and simplifying management.
