When you have shit tones of essays on contemporary topics inside your brain and you can’t get them out. Why? You are too busy working in another field keeping a roof over your head and your bills paid. Also, not sure anyone would read what your write. However looking around at the rubbish on the best sellers list that is likely ghost written by the proverbial talking heads, perhaps this isn’t a mere pipe dream.

But they have to order the damn valve bc it's not in stock. So I have water but still no furnace. However my little heaters are working well at least now I can get a proper hot shower and do laundry. Estimated furnace cost $1000. It's an fucking expensive month.

As for the furnace. The tech came and swapped out the circuit board and started the furnace, no swoosh of the gas valve. He tinkered for a bit and determined it wasn't the circuit board but gas valve that has a short. He put the old board back on and tested again. Yep it was the valve. Not easy to diagnose apparently. The valve is about the same price maybe a wee bit more than the board. I won't be charged for a new board.

So it's 5:30 here. Water is fixed and first estimator for repipe has done walk through. It will be 2-3 days before estimate is sent. But fix bc it ended up being in slab was a total of 1568 now add leak detection for 350 and we are about 1920 total. 🤦🏻‍♀️ that said, the guys were better as the day went on but still they could have been a bit more professional.

Dear 2025 we aren't starting this year like this. Hells the the fucking no. Been thinking a lot this week about things and it's time to flip some tables.

So the circuit board for the furnace which originated in Georgia is stuck inn Kentucky due to weather. Thx UPS! 🤦🏻‍♀️ the young lady at the furnace guys office called to break the news I might be able to get it fix by Monday. Brightside- she's also asking her boss to refund the expedited shipping I paid for ($100). This is kind of her. Monday could be a real hoot plumbers, furnace guys and estimators OH my!! I asked the universe for some signs, THIS WAS NOT WHAT I MEANT!!! But msg received! 🤨

Wait the water is run through the slab foundation and up to where it is needed. Ahhhhh SHITBALLS🤦🏻‍♀️

Hopefully the leak is between main and house outside and easy fix. I will not be tearing up the floors or foundation. I'll just have the house properly repiped from attic space down. Talked to some neighbors. They had same issues. Brightside it's done for when I sell. 2025 knock it the fuck off already. 🤨
