Morning Folks! Last night I hit level 60 in #Diablo4 and entered the endgame... and have been pretty happy that my pure minions build was effectively able to roll straight into Torment 1 without much gearing.

I talk about how this might be the best D4 Season yet.

Like I also feel like "Bel" is a "more real" version of my actual self at this point than the person that I occupy in meatspace.

I cannot imagine what it would be like to lose your chosen "voice". My voice is mostly text.

I think I never got caught up in reels, tiktok, or shorts... because I hate my cell phone making noise and those videos make zero sense without the audio most of the time. Also... watching vertical format video on your landscape monitor feels gross.

I think the core problem with many of the MMORPG that went from subscription over to a free-to-play model... is that they all ended up doing an enshitification pass. Some of these were worse than others... but they all added weird monetization or locked core features behind paywalls. Now years later... we only have a worse version of the game that launched as the one that is still playable.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the second time Maxroll has decided to drop support for an ARPG. The first was Diablo Immortal and now Torchlight Infinite, in both cases it was largely because they decided the monetization was too egregious.
