Yesterday I started my digital footprint clean up and owning my own data. Meta accounts have been deleted and content will be published on my own domain.

At the beginning of the week I was getting lost in a rabbit hole trying to implement web mentions on my site. Whilst in that hole I discovered the https://indieweb.org/ site and started reading.

This evening I’m sat here sketching out my silos and data ownership and planning a digital purge and tidy up.

My last ‘big’ race of the year, the St. Edmunds Ultra 50k, was back on the 1st December. Since then I have done nothing, and I mean nothing; no recovery runs, no training.

I have turned off my alarms, slept in late.

Not logged food, eating for comfort not performance.

Given up recording health metrics, no idea on my training load balance.

Since then I have survived, life goes on and for the first time I can remember I had a dream!
