You’re going to see a lot of apps you use sending the same message regarding dropping Google Drive support.

Google’s terms are bananas and it’s just not even close to being important enough for independent developers to spend their time on it.

Does anyone on iOS 18 beta know if you can add passwords to the Passwords app without also adding a URL?

This is currently a limitation on Passwords right now. Worse, it won't even import passwords that don't have URLs attached.

Apple realizes that there's passwords that….might not have a URL attached right?

If this is still the case, this is yet another year where a silly deal breaker keeps me from migrating.

I just benchmarked the 2018 iPad Pro and 2024 iPad Pro and they both play back The Matrix in 2 hours and 16 minutes.

Someone should tell Sonos that while they sell hardware, 98% of their customers’ interaction with their brand is with software.

Shipping good performing native software is what premium brands do.

Shipping terribly performing garbage web apps with missing features in a native container is what discount brands do.

I thought Sonos considered themselves a premium brand.

I feel so bad for the engineers and employees working at Apple.

They're working their asses off to make Insanely Great™ things, only for leadership to absolutely turn everyone against Apple.

This 20+ stagnant leadership team needs to cycle out. It's all just gross.

Imagine spending 7 years on a new platform, actually getting it to market, and your leadership penny pinching so hard that no one wants to make anything for it.

tvOS versions of media apps would 100% be a better fit for Compatibility mode on visionOS than their iPad counterparts.

tvOS apps are already designed for focus based interactions and iPad apps are soooooo not doing this.

The layouts of iPad apps are also pretty terrible for visionOS. I say that with experience in my own app 😂

We would probably turn on compatibility mode for @getchannels if we could do it for our tvOS version.

But the iPad version is just dumb in it.
