I have not really used it yet so I just recently learned that #pixelfed lets you attach more than 4 photos to a single post. How does that work when federating to Mastodon? Do we just see the first 4 and the rest are hidden? Is it client-specific?

Big kitten milestone day. She was so hungry from fasting before getting spayed, but still too loopy from the meds afterward to carefully eat, so she just dunked her full head into the food dish and then collapsed in the mess.

27h spread over 6 months and I finally finished* #LiveALive! By its nature that game is pretty mixed - I liked some chapters way more than others - but overall I enjoyed it.

Thank goodness a helpful Canada Post employee in (+63…) the Philippines crossed the picket line on a Saturday to tell me my package had a bad “zip code address”.

(I mean I hope it doesn’t have a zip code at all, given that “zip” is a US thing.)

We just changed our cellular plans to a Black Friday deal and now, for less than I was paying before, I have 60GB/month of data with rollover.

I work from home and typically use like 1GB/month. What am I going to do with all this data???

My #twitter account has been locked down and dormant since that guy took over but I didn’t want to delete it until I had one of those self-hosted archives set up so I could reference and link to things from the fifteen-ish year history of my tweets.

I’m at the point now that I’m feeling some urgency to properly delete things over there so I guess I’m looking into #SelfHosting projects this weekend to see if I can set something up. If anyone has experience or suggestions please share!

I updated and rebooted my #Fedora #linux workstation last night and it upgraded to #KDE Plasma 6.2. The first thing I noticed is that my monitors are so bright! Reading the "What's New" post it seems like they changed some brightness and colour handling stuff but whatever they did it is dramatic for me. A bit dazzling at first but honestly I think I am a fan - it feels like a brand new setup.
