I'm starting to feel like my desire to have zsh start in under like 200ms is idealistic. I think going from bash to zsh with plugins has given me somewhat unrealistic expectations. Of course bash with nothing is going to open in like 3ms or whatever.

Dug out my old x220 to update an old coreboot install to libreboot.

I was a little worried because to replace the default bios on the x220 you have to externally flash it. After you've flashed coreboot it removes write protection and you can flash internally (using flashrom/flashprog).

The reason that I was worried was because I thought that the instructions may've been harder to follow because of my unique situation.

Nope! Was really easy, just took a little while to understand the process.

Sometimes I worry that I am unhireable and don't have any skills. Interacting with other Computer Science undergrads makes it kinda obvious that's either untrue or none of us have skills.

I think the fact I haven't worked with large code bases or collaborated much is what makes me feel that way.

It's still hard to know that I know how to do a lot of things and am aware from interactions that I'm pretty good at things compared to the people at my academic level, but still lacking the felt knowledge of competence

I think it'd be cool for there to be an audio player (app?), that allows you to queue music, podcasts, and audiobooks in the same queue.

Would make it easier to go from listening to Billie Eilish, tho some book about mathematicians, to a podcast about Elm or w/e

I always get kind of excited when programming languages have the option to write arithmetic operators in prefix notation, but they never work like they do in lisp >.>

I wanna be able to do something like:

• 1 2 3 (...)

but they still just take 2 arguments.
