I like the reply feature in iOS Messages which lets me reply to specific messages from someone. However, I have no idea how you get out of reply mode and back to seeing the entire message thread. There’s no button or other visual indication of what I should do. I always end up killing Messages and relaunching it to get out of that mode. It is NOT in the documentation at Apple support.

@ivory I might be missing something but
Is there a way to get to the last unread toot in my home feed? If I search for something, I don’t know how to get back to where I left off before the search.

I don’t subscribe to either the WA Post or the LA Times, but I know that BOTH of their editorial boards had endorsements of Harris ready.
If my experience means anything, the owners of those papers blocking the endorsements caused more people to know about those endorsements than publishing them. Streisand effect? 😄

My hobby before working at Apple was programming. Since retiring, I’ve written little code but I bake a lot more. Here’s this morning’s Cinnamon Bun Bread.

@ivory Recently, when I’m using the in-Ivory browser (iOS 17.x;current Ivory), I’ll sometimes get an “Open in…” message as shown in the attached image. Any ideas what is going on?

I'm sure most of you have online accounts you no longer use. I do, too.
What the best way to get those online accounts completely removed?
For example… I used to use AT&T services for a landline and for cell service, but haven’t had either service for 7 years. When I contacted AT&T today, I was told, “I apologize but we do not have option to do that, but rest assured that all your data are already deleted with us if the account is cancelled and your access idd will only be accessible on your end.” I replied, “I've seen too many data breaches lately to believe that it is not accessible.” and they replied, “I understand but we assure you that all of these are already handled and the access points on those hacks are already identified and manage, no personal information like ssn, id or private data was released during the breach. Rest assured that there is no more option to access your account even here with us.” I asked how to escalate the issue, and they closed the chat.
