Seriously, it looks like a really good rucksack. I mean everything else aside. Also it's really hard to find a good grey hacker hoodie with a properly big hood that blocks out the wind.

My theory is that Google is making the play to sideline Firefox at this time (and Microsoft going hard on similar OS monopoly stuff) because it's an election year, and best case (for them) all antitrust action will halt entirely about mid-2025, worst case we'll all be too distracted by crazies protesting a "rigged election" they'll be able to get away with at least part of their plan anyway.

K, so it just occurred to me, if the moon landings were faked (just for the sake of argument), does this mean there currently aren't humans stranded in the ISS? And that GPS doesn't work? Because if you're going all in on "flat earth" you have a lot of things to explain and seriously check your meds.

OK enough of this serious stuff. I need a cool trick to access an SMB share over an SSH tunnel. :D OK I could hack this together for real... or use an sshfs tunnel maybe. But that doesn't seem like the absolute coolest thing possible.

I like how these images came out, in that I was prompting with "inked" and Riley's pictures. She has short hair, almost like flocking, and now I have the idea that in a cyberpunk setting you could have your hair follicles tweaked like tattoos, in a tight, high-contrast-ink style pattern. And now I want this done to my hair, with numerically significant tribal sworls and stuff.
