When I write alt text I often describe things as being x colour. For blind users, can you "see" the colour in your mind or does it mean nothing to you? Does it make a difference if you were born blind or became blind later in life?

I should probably warn people that I don't post a lot but I do read all posts from the people I follow. I am also more likely to reply to people and have a conversation.
I work full time and am often exhausted when I get home so most of my posting happens at weekends and when on holiday from work.

Those TV shows that have to specify "information correct at time of filming "... well duh! But also surely you have to specify when that was because if it is reshown 10 years later, it could be very out of date and people need to know that.
