I went to the medical centre to get a certificate to say I can go back to full duties at work. It's been six weeks since an X-ray confirmed a broken rib in my back.
My usual Dr is on leave so I saw a different Dr. He wants me to stay on light duties for another two weeks ... but is OK with me road cycling and mountain biking! 🤯

I got home, closed my driver's side window, locked the door and realised I forgot to leave my sunglasses in the car.
I dropped my pizza in my unit and started walking down the street to the corner shop to buy drinks etc and stopped to put my sunglasses in the car.
I opened the passenger side door, put the glasses in the car ... and then realised the passenger side window was open.
If I live to my parents age my brain will be mush!

It's been about 3 years since I owned a manual car.
I've owned this automatic car for more than 18 months.
I just tried to push the clutch in before starting the car.

Then when I was putting a new tube in I thought I'd pinched the tube because it kept seeming to deflate again when I disconnected the pump.
In the end I used CO2 instead of the mini pump and still wasn't convinced it was holding pressure. So I rode hard to get as far as possible before needing to re-inflate or walk. The tube held pressure and I kept pushing hard all the way home.

37km between pinch flat punctures. At least I had a spare tube today.
Last Sunday I thought 'that was a hard hit' and sure enough my tyre punctured.
Today as I rode into a driveway I thought that's a high edge but then thought 'but that feels fine'. I stopped on the path to put my earphones in and realised that the tyre was slowly deflating.🤬
